Pen and Ink

Pen and ink studies, using my Noodles Ahab pen a simple line drawing.  The second, using Kuretake pen with sepia ink. Great fun.

Joan, I have to say you are one of my favorite watercolorists. I love your work and have been wanting to play with ink washes myself. Fear and lack of drawing skills stops me every time.

Your ink washes are getting better and better! It almost feels like plein air painting weather...hope to see you soon.

Hi Joan,

Looking forward to the plein air, but enjoying my studies at home also.

Thank you for the encouraging words, love working with the sepia ink.

You do lovely work in your sketchbook! These are like finished framable pieces! (My sketchbook is a total mess with very very rough drawings).
Happy Sketching!
