Garage Sale Find

Last Sunday, after having a wonderful day in Northport, I found this lovely coffee set at a garage sale .  It was the ending of one of those perfect days.  Can't wait to do a still life with one of these pieces , perhaps in oil or acrylic.  Happy Painting to all.

Glassware is one thing that rarely captures my interest when I go to antique stores, but I must say, tea sets and cups and saucers in the finest china do always get my attention. This is beautiful, Joan, and your rendering this in watercolor accentuates the delicacy of the pieces. Gorgeous!

It is lovely. I like all of that British tea serving stuff. It makes great still lifes. Wonderful sketches.
Happy Painting to you too!
