Hydrangea

Hydrangea from my garden
Gouache study on paper 8x10
Wanted to get back to  my fellow bloggers, where has the summer gone.  I have been busy painting, but was unable to get to my blog.  So please forgive me for not responding or visiting your blogs.  Today, I picked these white hydrangea's and placed the in a cut glass green fruit bowl, one of my garage sale finds.  Still working on this one.  Happy Painting everyone.

Like the overall effect here. Hydranges can be complicated as there are so many flowers on them.

Hi Hilda,

Thank you, I see them all the time also, love the way light hits and shows all different shades of green. Hope to see you again at one of the art shows.
