Still life studies

Blue Vase and daffodils from England
Once again studying Charles Reid approach,  modified contour in graphite and watercolor.
Yesterday Mike and I went to Trader Joe's for flowers.  My grandchildren returned home on Monday.  So to keep myself busy, painting always helps, especially when doing contour drawing.  All in all, I will try to post more on this blog.  Happy Painting everyone.

Oh my...I so love your watercolor work. That little Delft cream pitcher is delightful!

I am with Sherry - I want that pitcher!
Love the rhythmic flow you have in this one.

Thank you so much Julie, I appreciate your visit and encouragement. I love the little pitcher and seem to use it quite often in my still life paintings.
