My journal

Still life sketch in my journal

It seems with the holiday season and all the prep work for Thanksgiving dinner, my
art time vanished.  lol.  that isn't like me to not paint, draw or sketch almost daily.
But this holiday was different, Mike and I hosted this Thanksgiving dinner at our house.
For the last 12yrs we have been having it at our daughters house or my sons house.
So that being said.  All went well, even the turkey wasn't overcooked. We had a very pleasant
holiday, hope all of you enjoyed your holiday as well.
Happy painting everyone.

Lately can't seem to sleep, got up at 3:30 am and started this little sketch

at 4:50 am.
Must get out of the house to paint, it is raining today, so I might have to

After the 30 day challenge

watercolor study, pears and reflections
A quick study of a rose in glass vase.
The vase is off, but I'm not concerned.  Will work on this
another time.

It seems very difficult to get back to my work.  This is just to keep a track on what
I have been doing the last few days.  Unfortunately I cannot say they are good.
But it is not about how good a painting is , it's about showing up and painting
and learning.
Happy Painting everyone.
